This site was a FREE MICROBIOLOGICAL RESOURCE for those interested in the water industry.
The Standing Committee of Analysts (UK) (SCA) produce ‘Blue Book’ booklets of recommended laboratory and technical methods for the water industry. There are a number of texts relevant to the microbiology of water and associated materials.
T2 Scientific combined groups of related microbiological texts into a multi-page web, added an active index, cross-referencing, and other useful components to enhance their usability and, more importantly, their readability on a range of platforms from laptops, tablet computers to smartphones.
The T2 Scientific web-page version is time-consuming to produce, and take-up was disappointing, despite favourable reviews by users. I am sorry to announce that there are no plans now to continue with the ‘Making Documents VISIBLE’ project. If there is a particular text you are interested in, you are welcome to contact me at the following email; pgwatson98@gmail.com and we can discuss it further.
The groups of electronic documents previously covered are listed below.
- Microbiology of Drinking Water
- Detection of Cryptosporidium in water
- Determination of Legionella in water and other environmental samples
- Microbiology of Recreational and Environmental Waters
- Microbiology of Sewage Sludge
Thank you for your interest.
